Four Canadian 25-cent coins struck in 1.000 nickel. The complete set of four 25-cent coins struck in 2008 to commemorate the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada, in 2010. The coin set is displayed in a custom card wallet with information about the coins and the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, as well as a Certificate of Authenticity. The coins were issued for circulation, but these four coins are in original Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The reverse of each coin depicts a different Winter Olympic Games sport: snowboarding, freestyle skiing, figure skating, and bobsledding. Each design also includes a stylized maple leaf, Canada’s national symbol. These coins were the second in a series of commemorative 25-cent coins issued in 2007, 2008, and 2009 for Vancouver 2010. The obverse of each coin shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The obverse of the coins also includes the symbol of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games and the five interlocking Olympic rings. The obverse design is unique to the Vancouver 2010 series. This is a great opportunity to acquire the complete set of 2008 coins. These coins are already out of issue, making them hard to find – especially in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Canada’s circulating commemorative 25-cent coins are tremendously popular, and this set is destined to be one of the most sought-after in Canadian history. The matching 2007 and 2009 25-cent coin sets are also available for a complete collection.
