1999-2008 PCGS PR69 Clad Proof State Quarters Autographed by Philip N. Diehl, the 35th Director of the United States Mint.

Get all ten years of high grade proof clad state quarters.  Five coins for each year. Fifty coins in all.  Each is graded and encapsulated by PCGS with  protective flag design plastic slab holders. Unique labeling features each of the five State flags and is signed by Philip N. Diehl, the 35th Director of the United States Mint.  Unlike the "D" or "P" mint quarters, the "S" mint mark quarters were not made for general circulation, and were only available in the US Government proof sets.  These were minted at the San Francisco (S) US government mint and are made of a copper nickel clad alloy.  Each coin is certified as near-perfect PR69 meaning that it is the most sought-after condition for all fifty coins.  All coins are graded on a 70-point scale, with 70 being absolute perfection.  It is almost impossible to find a complete set of coins like this in matching PR69 condition.  Each year set is also encapsulated in a tamper-proof holder to protect its condition for the future and to preserve the certification. This guarantees the coin's authenticity and condition as long as the case remains intact. The attribute DCAM means that this coin has a "deep cameo" mirror like surface and is exceptionally nice.  (DCAM) designation speaks to the coin's lustrous presentation, with a brilliant mirrored background and frosted images that stand out boldly from the coin's surface.
