In 2007, the U.S. Mint introduced the Presidential Dollars series. The coins celebrate each non-living U.S. President on a unique golden Dollar coin. The Presidential Dollars are issued in the order in which the Presidents served, and at the rate of four per year. Each coin is a legal tender Dollar coin struck at the U.S. Mint. Each coin is issued in a limited edition of only about three months before production starts on the next coin. This set features four Presidential Dollars and a Sacagawea Dollar Coin. The reverse of Presidential Dollar coin shows the Statue of Liberty. The Sacagawea Dollar was first minted in 2000 and was America’s first golden coin. It was also the first circulating coin to feature an identifiable Native American. It depicts Sacagawea, the Native American guide who accompanied the Lewis and Clark Expedition in 1804-1806. The obverse shows Sacagawea with her baby, Jean Baptiste, on her back. All five coins are in original Brilliant Uncirculated condition. All five coins are in individual coin capsules to protect their Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
