The last Lincoln memorial penny was struck in 2008, to commemorative the 200th anniversary of Lincoln’s birth and the 100th anniversary of the Lincoln penny. The U.S. Mint replaced the Lincoln memorial penny with a series of special commemorative coins in 2009.
This collection features the complete collection of the last Lincoln memorial Pennies. The coins were stuck in 2008 at the Philadelphia and Denver Mints in BU condition and at the San Francisco Mint in Proof Quality. The coin from the Denver mint has a small 'D' mint mark under the date on the obverse, while the San Francisco coin has a small 'S.' The coin from the Philadelphia mint has no mint mark
