One roll of 50 coins from each U.S. Mint that struck the 2010 Lincoln Penny for circulation: Philadelphia and Denver. All coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and are packaged in plastic tubes. The coins are identified by the ?D? mint mark below the date on the obverse for the coins from the Denver Mint, or no mint mark on the coins from the Philadelphia Mint. The 2010 Lincoln Penny was the first with a new permanent reverse design since 1959. It is the third permanent reverse design after the 1909-1958 wheat ears and 1959-2008 Lincoln Memorial designs. In 2009, the U.S. Mint struck four one-time-only commemorative Lincoln Pennies to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth. The obverse of all Lincoln Pennies, including 2010, features a portrait of Lincoln by sculptor Victor D. Brenner. The 2010 reverse features the Union shield with a scroll bearing the inscription ONE CENT. The 13 vertical stripes on the shield represent the 13 original states that formed the United States of America. As the first coin in the new series, the 2010 Union Shield Lincoln Penny will be highly sought after by collectors, especially in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Few people will ever have the opportunity to own this coin in complete 50-coin rolls from each of the two mints. All coins are guaranteed to be in original Brilliant Uncirculated condition and are from original bags direct from the U.S. Mints in Philadelphia and Denver.
